Business Support:
- Work with Enterprise Agreements (EA) team, Sales Finance and Sales to structure, review and approve non-standard complex enterprise agreements globally
- Partner with EA team to support new initiatives within the EA program with seamless end-to-end flow
- Support various new Company initiatives and go-to-market paths
- Establish and manage ARR reporting for the company, including newly acquired entities
- Acquisition integration: lead integration work, representing revenue in the Order-to-Cash cycle
Revenue Accounting Close and Compliance:
- Own the end-to-end accounting process related to Enterprise Agreements, including true-up, upsell, credits, embedded support, and related hardware purchase accounting.
- Manage the Enterprise Service Agreement tracker and work with the cross-functional teams to track and document all revenue impacting terms.
- Perform other month-end and quarter-end revenue close related tasks. Analyze revenue trends and investigate variances.
- Own revenue reporting monthly and quarterly.
- Prepare or review revenue and deferred revenue journal entries and account reconciliations for various B/S and P&L accounts.
- Support internal/external audit requests for control and substantive testing. Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures & SOX controls.
Process Automation and Revenue System:
- Actively identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and improve efficiency to drive close acceleration.
- Participate/lead the development of new process and/or enhancements to reduce manual work.
- Assist with quarterly system upgrade testing to ensure system core functionalities remain as-is while driving system performance improvement.
- Participate or lead in system enhancement projects and assist in UATs as needed.
Requirements
- B. S. Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent accounting certification a plus
- 8-12 years of accounting experience with exposure in revenue area under ASC 606; 5+ years of revenue operations experience
- People manager experience with ability to coach, mentor and develop team members
- Strong problem solving skills, especially in new areas/processes
- A team player and solid communicator (verbal and written), including the ability to interact professionally across levels, functions and geographies
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, high growth, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong initiative to drive things and commitment to meet tight deadlines
- High degree of diligence, strong analytical and intermediate/advanced MS-Excel skills (such as vlookup, pivot tables, index match)
- Experience with Oracle, Zuora (RevPro), Salesforce.com and Tableau, a plus
Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Earnings for this position are expected to be $170,000- $200,000 per year. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, internal compensation and geographic location.
