Required minimum qualifications

  • Proven track record of leading complex, multi-year solution sales engagements across and cross-CSA. Demonstrated experience in orchestrating cross-functional teams across CSAs and partners while driving deal strategy at scale.

  • Significant industry sales experience with deep understanding of industry-specific drivers, regulations, and business models. Able to develop industry go-to-market strategies and influence internal investment decisions to capture white space.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic relationships and influence CDOs, CIOs, CSOs, and other C-level executives. Comfortable engaging in business value conversations and co-creating transformation roadmaps with senior leadership.

  • Deep understanding of consulting-led sales and solution architecture. Able to partner with solution and delivery teams to shape large, transformational deals and align architecture strategy with business outcomes.

  • A consistent record of leading and closing complex digital transformation programs, often involving consulting, change management, and multiple solution areas. Demonstrated capability to own the sales strategy and execution for enterprise-scale transformation.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology (IT),

  • OR related field AND 10+ years’ industry sales experience in the commercial

  • OR public sector (e.g. Finance, Local Government, etc.)

  • OR related work

  • OR master’s degree in business, Information Technology (IT),

  • OR related field AND 8+ years’ experience in technology sales experience in the commercial

  • OR public sector (e.g. Finance, Local Government, etc.)

  • 8+ years consulting solution sales and delivery experience

Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead and orchestrate customer value through driving Large Transformation partnerships and high impact AI Transformation business outcome for our customers. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with Regional leaders, Area SLTs and their sales teams, establishing strong partnerships and driving a consistent Cross-CSA approach aligned to company strategy and applying a regional approach to meet customer needs.  Strong stakeholder engagement with SPT and Area MCAPS Sales teams will be a critical focus for your success.

  • You will bring impactful technology and industry insights into customer engagements and close deals with customers; you will coach and support others internally on how to do execute deal control through demonstrating high levels of commercial acumen and negotiation skills. You will leverage deep sales & delivery experience to drive a consultative sale and build trust with ​C level executives​.

  • Influencing Microsoft's strategic direction across various markets. Leading a virtual cross-organizational team on strategic projects and high impact solution sales deployments that enable digital transformation and deliver business value. Leveraging CSA assets and consulting IP (functions and industry) to deliver customer transformation​.

  • Actively participating in the sales planning, orchestration and deal closure leveraging Microsoft’s sales methodology (MCEM). Shaping and selling custom consulting solutions with technical acumen that maximizes Microsoft investments​. ​ You will create strategic partnerships that set delivery up for success through the focus on establishing strong governance and executive oversight.

  • Providing deal coaching and shaping by encouraging cross-area learning and insights within the solution area to the value of both our customers and wider Microsoft teams.  Working seamlessly with the wider account team, building and strengthening relationships across the Microsoft teams to drive consumption; putting AI at the forefront of everything we do.
