Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in manufacturing process and product development for mechanical parts and assemblies for electronics products.
2 years of experience designing mechanical components such as metal parts, mechanical assemblies, printed circuit board outlines.
Experience in mechanical design and development to support manufacturing.
Experience with 3D CAD tools such as 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience with product data management systems (e.g., Agile, Windchill).
Experience in one or more sub-disciplines (i.e., sheet metal fabrication, hard tooling fabrication, plastic injection molding) with the ability to provide Design for Excellence feedback.
Understanding of precision sheet metal fabrication processes (e.g., NC punching, press brake forming, hardware insertion processes), hard tooling fabrication processes (e.g., metal stamping), plastic injection molding processes, and electro-mechanical assembly.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multi-geo teams on complex projects spanning multiple technologies.
