Bachelor's degree in Hardware Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
12 years of experience in multiple hardware technology domains (e.g., camera display, batteries, etc.), applying Design for Reliability techniques, and working on multiple consumer electronics products.
10 years of experience managing a team across multiple technical disciplines.
6 years of experience in an Engineering leadership role.
Experience with statistical analysis (e.g., Monte Carlo Analysis, DoE, SPC).
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science.
Experience collaborating with suppliers around the world on part manufacturing and final assembly, including onsite factory support.
Experience in applying design for reliability techniques (e.g., FTA, DFMEA) and reliability modeling techniques (e.g., Reliability Block Diagram, Weibull, Reliability Growth Models), as well as with failure analysis techniques for electrical, mechanical, or optical components.
Experience shipping consumer products as a reliability lead role.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to summarize and communicate issues to executives.
Excellent communication, project management, planning and organizational skills.
