Job Description

In this position you'll learn about and will be responsible for ensuring datacenter platforms meet our customer quality expectations at the unit, product, and system level.

Some of the activities you will be responsible for include:

• Planning and executing validation tasks, such as running test plans, test execution, triage, and open defects.
• Assembly of platforms based on required hardware configurations.
• Setup of firmware and Operations Systems according to specs.
• Gather logs, triage, and raise issues found in execution.
• Understand test cases intent and corroborate their focus in the right areas.
• Maintenance of test and lab equipment.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications,you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:

• The candidate must be an active student in Electronic, Mechatronic, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 6+ months of experience with Linux OS.6+ months of experience with PC component architecture and assembly (CPU, motherboard, memory, storage, video, USB, networking, wireless).
• Intermediate to advanced English level.
• This position is for Guadalajara location only. Relocation is not approved.
• Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.

Preferred Qualificationsare in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:

• Experience with Python and running tests and debug components from command line interfaces.
