RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with UX designers to define, test, and iterate on UI copy across topics and areas in the user experience.
• Write documentation for cloud-native software products tailored to the Data and Analytics area. Our documentation includes IT administration guides, end-user guides, API documentation, translation review, and UX/UI copy.
• Assist and/or facilitate user research sessions to test and validate that our design and copy choices resonate with our users.
• Collaborate with product managers and software developers to strategize, prioritize, and deliver documentation relevant to user and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain internal content design documentation and resources to enable consistency, efficiency, and collaboration.
• Continually learn and advocate for content design best practices that ensure consistency and scalability.
• Independently and proactively identify opportunities to improve user experience via content design. Must be able to take initiative and follow up with stakeholders regularly as needed.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• Ability to articulate rationale of decision making in a clear and logical manner whether via conversations or presentations to cross functional colleagues.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Demonstrate humility and a low ego through willingness to learn, grow, and work with feedback from users, customers, and colleagues.


You are able to work hybrid from our Vancouver office three days a week.
• 1-3 years of experience in content design, UX writing, technical writing, or equivalent expertise in editing, and writing—with a focus on digital products and platforms.
• Can present examples of your writing during the interview process to demonstrate rationale for decisions and adherence to best practices, defined writing processes, and stylistic standards.
• Thorough knowledge of English language, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage with a high attention to details and consistency.
• Experience writing in adherence with style guides.
• Can plan your work to meet deadlines across a few teams.
• Excited to collaborate to provide customers clear, accurate, accessible information on using, implementing, and integrating SAP products.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to enable effective collaboration across teams and time zones.
• Proficient in DITA CCMS, Microsoft Office, and Figma, or able to quickly learn complex authoring software.
