This role will be based in our Los Angeles office.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate sponsorship processes, including executing paperwork, managing invoicing and budget tracking, and overseeing sponsorship deliverables (e.g. ad creation).
Help manage the ongoing maintenance of the global resource site.
Research and vet organizations on behalf of the team and in response to internal requests.
Track team budget and maintain alignment with Finance partners.
Maintain core team databases, including our programs talent database.
Maintain calendars for the team, including scheduling meetings both internally and externally, booking large department events, meetings and offsites.
Manage org grant renewal processes, including tracking renewal calendar, setting up meetings with external partners, and executing agreements/invoices.
Manage getting new vendors set up for payment; and workflows to create POs.
Lead on outreach to partners for proactive events (e.g. premiere/screening invitations) in partnership with our publicity teams and create a new system for managing invite lists and tracking RSVPs.
Provide support for External Affairs event execution.
Qualifications:
2+ years experience working in public affairs, stakeholder engagement, corporate social responsibility or communications within a media/entertainment company.
Experience working with nonprofits, academic institutions and industry organizations.
Understanding of how the entertainment industry works, including familiarity with the nonprofit community specific to media and entertainment, including knowledge of key organizations and issues.
Strong written and oral communication/advocacy skills.
Strong project management skills.
Experience managing budgets.
The ability to think from first principles and work well cross functionally, including with outside partners.
A willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the work done.
The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $60,000 - $234,000.
