We are looking for talented Software Development Engineers to build highly scalable solutions needed to support and innovate on the critical software running AWS operations. This role will be focused on contributing to redefining how the elements within data centers are managed. We own the software and tooling for managing all the inventory in our Data Centers and the interactions with it (i.e. receive, deploy, repair, decommission). This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to hit the ground running. You will collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, customers, and other engineers to help bring our software to fruition. You will be counted on to be an influential voice in decisions related to system architecture and feature development. - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
