The Boost Electron team is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer who is excited about building the next generation of Data Center automation systems. As a Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the architecture and implementation of highly scalable distributed systems that provide availability, scalability, and latency guarantees. In addition, you will be expected to raise the standards of the organization by mentoring junior engineers, interviewing them, and up-leveling the coding standards. You will work on highly visible programs across multiple organizations where you will have the opportunity to have a significant impact.You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
