Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Senior Bankers to manage and grow a diverse portfolio of clients with a focus on local/regional decision makers based in China. Establish and maintain local contacts with the client’s subsidiary and partner with the global and regional teams to increase wallet share of existing clients and cross sell APAC countries. Typical client requirements will focus on cash management, FX and derivatives, financing, trade, and all corporate banking aspects.
  • Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with JPMorgan's broad array of corporate banking products and to help Senior Bankers structure appropriate and concrete financial and treasury service
  • Assist the Senior bankers in preparation and submission of RFPs i.e., lead the end-to-end process
  • Support Senior Bankers in conducting industry research as well as update on regulations and macro economy
  • Coordinate internally with onboarding team, product partners, middle offices and back offices to work on client Know Your Client (KYC) standards for renewals, remediation and onboarding of new clients. Responsible for client due diligence to provide the necessary oversight and local accountability to new transactional or service related activities in line with JPM Chase policies and local Regulatory requirements covering credit documents, Compliance, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), etc.
  • Support Senior Bankers in client engagement and new transaction processes end-to-end, development of forward looking new business plans for clients and the maintenance of existing business relationships.
  • Coordinate internally across line of business and support Senior Bankers in delivering a best in class client services.
  • Manage internal due diligence requirements and administration tasks to accelerate sales process

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 year work experience in a corporate banking front office role
  • Good and comprehensive knowledge of corporate banking products including credit, cash management, trade services, debt and capital markets as well as FX. Relevant international banking experience in the US/China/Asia markets and/or prior experience of managing APAC regional relationships would be a strong advantage
  • Prior experience of working in the field of cash management would be a strong advantage
  • Understand the local regulation and market / industry landscape in China
  • Understand transaction cycle and the steps in the process and is execution oriented
  • Impeccable communication details with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals, clients and key stakeholders in other line of business
  • Excellence in oral and written communication (English and Chinese) with proven strength for personal engagement
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
  • Strong team player who can equally contribute individually
  • Able to work effectively across geographies and time zones
  • Can build trust with clients and internal constituencies
  • Possesses sound commercial sense
