- to act as key member of site leadership team helping to ensure achievement of all production targets tosatisfy businessneeds.
- to lead, mentor, and enforce site EHS procedures/ practices and ensure site compliance to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- to develop, monitor, and align on all issues relevant to the site maintenance and reliability, including preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
- to create and develop all aspects of the maintenance organization and personnel skill sets to meet changing business goals.
- to ensure maintenance personnel at all levels are recruited, fully competent, trained and supervised to operate within all relevant legislation and standards.
- to provide, lead, and coordinate designated representatives, contract resources, and third parties providing maintenance and other services to maintain all aspects of the site ensuring availability to meet business requirements.
- to oversee all aspects of the maintenance and process instrumentation and controls systems of production machinery/equipment and infrastructure to ensure availability required to meet business targets.
- todevelop/monitor/controlall agreed budgeted costs related tosite maintenanceto align with agreed site costs.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution (completed and verified prior to start)
- Seven or more years in manufacturing, engineering, or facilities / maintenance engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Five or more years in manufacturing, engineering, or maintenance leadership experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Ten or more years in manufacturing, engineering, or facilities / maintenance engineering experience.
- Seven or more years in manufacturing, engineering, or maintenance leadership experience.
- Large maintenance management experience in a chemical manufacturing operation.
