EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

After an initial on-the-job training, you will:

• Work in a cross-functional and multi-location implementation team
• Enable easy and quick development of Business Applications across all SAP
• Build professional UI components with enterprise qualities (e.g. accessibility, performance and security)
• Contribute to the implementation of SAPUI5 by using modern browser standards like HTML 5, CSS 3 and AJAX
• Increase developer productivity by facilitating the development of application UIs to be integrated with other applications
• Quality assurance and community work for SAPUI5
• Achieve the team’s goals applying agile development practices

ABOUT THE ROLE

Working schedule: 20/30/40 hours a week

Start date: September-October

Duration of internship: 6 months

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science or related field
• Knowledge in object oriented programming languages
• Knowledge in the development of client-side Web applications with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new subject matters quickly
• Excellent team player, with strong communication skills, passionate about his/her work, self-motivated and driven
• Very good skills in English both written and spoken

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Practical experience in Web development is a plus
• Experience with building Single Page Applications using a framework is a plus (Angular or other)
