This role can be based in Dublin, London, Frankfurt, Madrid, UAEThe EMEA Data Center Construction Management team is seeking a Sr. Manager to lay the foundation for a new regional Pre-Construction team. This will be part of an exciting, fast moving and growing business team. The right candidate for this job will be a self-starter with dedication to seeing projects through to the end. You will have an eye for detail and determination to standardize processes and turn-over high-quality work. You will be an integral part of the team that works cross-functionally to deliver results.Key job responsibilities
• The Pre-Construction lead will be responsible for building a team that establishes standard pre-construction processes for the EMEA region and align those processes globally.
• The Pre-Construction lead will establish key pre-construction metrics that measure the performance of internal and external stakeholders
• The Pre-Construction lead will be responsible for providing the Construction deployment team with design and procurement inputs on time ahead of construction start
• The Pre-Construction lead will be responsible for building and managing interfaces with internal teams and develop cross-functionally alignment to deliver resultsAbout the teamYou’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science.
10+ years of related construction management experience of large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants.
5+ years of experience directly managing, mentoring, leading, and coaching construction management and/or engineering professionals.
5+ years of experience in pre-construction activities such as site due diligence, design management and procurement strategy development.
7+ years hiring, promoting, disciplining, and developing teams of professional construction/engineering staffs.
General contractor and vendor management experience (request for proposals, bidding, change orders) associated with construction and project execution.
