What you'll do...
In this role, you will be part of a Growth arm of the Item Integrity + Content team. Focused on accelerating key initiatives across General Merchandise, Marketing, and with key external partners. You will collaborate and develop deep partnerships with multiple stakeholders across the business such as Product, Merchandising, Marketplace, Site Merchandising, and others to identify opportunities, solve problems and developing new propositions that drive value for our customers. This is a very high visibility role where we operate in a very dynamic and agile environment. The person in this role will work through ambiguity, define direction cross-functionally and be poised to dive in and take action.
About the Role
We are looking for a customer-obsessed associate who thrives in ambiguity and change and has a track record of delivering against a roadmap. You will lead cross-functional Steer-Co’s to align and hold stakeholders accountable to delivering against defined goals. Primary area of focus will be within growing our GM market share through tech powered insights and actions. You will work closely with our Customer Insights Team to keep your finger on the pulse anticipating our customers future needs.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with key partners to define problem statements and develop framework and roadmap requirements to solve customer pain points.
Prepare and support content for material used for Executive Leadership meetings.
Take a program lead as needed to connect and foster relationships cross-functionally to execute deliverables.
Using internal and external data to anticipate future needs of the customer. Share insights and influence future roadmaps for the Item Integrity + Content team.
Be flexible in adapting to needs of the business, quickly developing processes and action plans tying back to team’s goals.
Required Experience
5+ years of experience in business or product operations & strategy, retail, process improvement, or related fields
Strong oral and written communication skills – including the ability to develop and deliver complex messages in a simple, actionable way
Strong analytical skills – creative problem-solver that can leverage sources of information from disparate sources and deliver comprehensive, balanced, and actionable analysis
Proven ability to bridge data with business insights to drive relevant, actionable output
Team player who is a self-starter and able to thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
Customer-centric & curious: passionate improving the Walmart customer experience
Previous eCommerce or Retail experience; operations or customer experience roles a plus
