ABOUT THE JOBIn our studio, designers bridge innovative gameplay with our ability to tell amazing stories. This involves working closely with narrative, writing, art, and engineering to bring these ideas to life. This role will require a deep understanding of not only high-level design principles; but of strong implementation, cinematic techniques, and storytelling integration. As a Lead Designer, you work with the Game Director to define a game’s design vision, take ownership over the design process for the game, and get your hands dirty with content implementation during production.
Responsibilities Include
Strong collaboration with cross-discipline game and studio leadership
Partnering closely with Narrative to create best-in-class story rich designs
Owning various level designs all the way from greybox to final
Planning, writing, and executing on project goals for the design team
Creating and maintaining design documentation
Skills & Requirements
10+ years of game design work with Lead experience highly preferred
3+ shipped games as a hands-on game designer
Experience implementing gameplay content using proprietary and industry-standard tools
Strong game design and communication skills
Strong Unity skills and fluency
Familiarity with the language of cinematic storytelling
Familiarity with programming and logic concepts

Passionate about storytelling, video games, and video game development.
Enthusiastic about innovation and exploring groundbreaking design ideas to tell stories in new ways within games.

Lifelong learner who wants to bring experience and knowledge to the project and team every day.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $90,000 - $600,000.
