Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiently utilize SAP across all finance modules, demonstrating a solid understanding of ERP/SAP systems.
  • Manage offshore work effectively, collaborating with the wider finance community across various Middle East (ME) offices from our Karachi location.
  • Independently oversee GL functions while actively participating in and leading improvement initiatives over time.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of and adherence to all finance policies and processes.
  • Serve as a primary resource for GL-related inquiries within the designated location.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a fast-paced professional services environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels within the firm.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a detail-oriented approach to analyzing and solving complex issues.
  • A finance-related degree, progress towards an accountancy qualification, or experience in a professional services or consultancy setting.
  • Innovative, confident, and creative thinker with the ability to make swift decisions.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • A business/commercial degree or postgraduate qualification.
  • Experience in budgeting and account forecasting.
  • People management and development experience.
  • Strong understanding of market activities and business-related experience.
