As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work in an innovative research and delivery team in the thriving enterprise security space to improve customers' online security. You'll be crucial to the architecture and development of cutting-edge filtering technology and supporting core distributed systems. You'll enjoy considerable senior exposure and the opportunity to innovate, develop and bring products and features to life.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing critical, scalable functionality and services utilizing best practice measures to improve customer security
  • Collaborating with cross-functional international teams to develop features and capabilities, ensuring functionality and stability on our distributed global platform
  • Implementing rapid prototypes to bring products to market quickly to meet our customer's needs
  • Documenting designs, implementation and test plans to share with company wide teams
Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have extensive experience of programming in Python. Experience of C/C++ would also be beneficial, but the role is primarily Python based.
  • Demonstrate experience with software development on Linux or POSIX/OpenGroup based systems
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of internet protocols, including TCP/IP, TLS/SSL, HTTP, DNS
  • Show experience of developing network-based applications and highly distributed systems
  • Be willing to work in fast paced, results oriented team and also be able to work autonomously
