Your responsibilities:

  • Creating and implementing effective territory and account plans for your region and customer base
  • Developing a deep understanding of Government and Public Sector customers
  • Positioning Slack’s unique capabilities to address the specific needs of government entities, helping them modernise collaboration and improve efficiency.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales
  • Leveraging a matrix account team, including Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, Marketing, Inside Sales, and Customer Success
  • Co-selling effectively with Salesforce Cloud Sales Executives and other cross-functional teams to maximise Slack’s impact within government accounts.
  • Nurturing and expanding relationships with public sector accounts by building trust and deeply understanding their unique challenges, including budget constraints, regulatory requirements, and evolving government policies.
  • Effectively communicating with leadership, customers, partners, and extended teams to ensure alignment with public sector needs.
  • Participating in team-building and company-growth activities, such as strategic planning, sales training, customer marketing efforts, and volunteering.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Consultative Selling experience
  • Likes to build new business, entrepreneurial spirit and grow existing business
  • Is a trusted advisor to the customers and colleagues
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English. Interacting with customers in a clear, concise, and timely manner using a variety of communication methods (writing, speech, presentation) and tools (whiteboarding, Google Slides, Zoom).
  • A results-driven mindset, with a passion for achieving goals.
  • Capability and enthusiasm to identify customer needs and delivering effective solutions.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A deep interest in customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships.
