Description
Manage a diverse team of design professionals, work on complex project issues of diverse scope requiring knowledge of conditions and evaluation of various factors, including design intent, budget and schedule limitations, construction feasibility, building code and regulatory requirements.- Understand and interpret local building codes, integrating comprehensive design solutions compliant with local and regional laws.- Identify technically challenging project conditions, and develop solutions to read consistently within a constantly evolving design vocabulary.- Review and comment on design and construction documents, maintaining design standards and developing project unique conditions.- Visit project sites and perform construction surveys.- Manage internal approval process at multiple phases throughout project.- Organize, update, and archive all project documentation.- Work with cross functional partners to create, manage, and implement fleet wide initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of design management within the retail, architectural or construction industries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to work effectively with a wide range of design, construction, and technology specialists.
  • Bachelors degree in Architecture or Design, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Familiarity with common industry architectural software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven ability to develop meaningful internal and external partnerships.
  • Excellent organization skills, problem solving skills.
  • Experience meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a quick learner and self starter who is comfortable working independently.
  • Understanding of Mac OS and Mac software such as Keynote, Numbers and Pages.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $85,700 and $129,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
