Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 4+ years of experience in planning and scheduling, utilizingscheduling software (iePrimavera P6)
• 4+ years of experience in the following: design and construction project management and planning medium-sized capital projects ($50MM - $200MM+) in construction,datacenters,oil&gas, or chemicals.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

As an individual contributor you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery of large-scale datacenter construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in datacenter design, procurement, and construction, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and to the satisfaction of clients. The role requires effective leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.

Planning:

• Develop and oversee continuous improvement of detailed project plans, including timelines, and resource requirements, for large-scale datacenter construction projects.
• Manage cross-functional teams inside and outside Microsoft, including engineers, procurement, and construction to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time.
• Monitor project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
• Work with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes meet their expectations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Project Management:

• Proactively manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project meets its objectives and is delivered on time.
• Continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
