Responsibilities
- Be qualified to design entire solution independently for business challenge or products, can coach and guide development team members.
- Work with Sr. tech leads, product managers, software architects and engineering teams to ensure the quality and efficiency of the product delivery.
- Define, design and enforce industrial best practices in combination with eBay’s environment in an innovative and scalable way.
- Be comfortable presenting your ideas to all levels of management, technical and non- technical audiences, and guiding engineering teams in their implementation.
- Generate energy, and questions that drive ideation and design creativity, encourage questions and a higher level of thinking.
Qualifications
- BS, MS, or Ph. D. in CS, EE or equivalent.
- 6-10+ years’ work experience in software development with at least 3-7+ years’ experience in front-line programming.
- Expert on coding with a good knowledge of data-structures and CS algorithms, or have talent/strong interests on bigdata mining.
- Gain a deep insights into software language such as Java/Python, and Bigdata tech stack as Hive/Iceberg/Flink/Spark optimization, and rich experience in Microservice together with middleware system, Springboot/Redis/Kafka... , .etc
- Ambitious and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Clean coding habits, attention to detail, focus on quality and best practice.
- Good oral and written communication in English.
- Good at communication and enjoy working.
- Experience on contributing to open source is a huge plus.
- Familiar with machine learning / deep learning / LLM is a big plus.
