Technical Department Manager X-Ray Detectors

Your Role:

• As the Technical Department Manager, you will lead the X-ray Detectors department of approximately 15 engineers located in the Netherlands and India and define the group composition including required proficiencies, resources and skills.
• Ensure successful introduction and sustaining of high quality, serviceable, and reliable detectors in our systems.
• Define and implements process improvement activities.
• Handle relationships with external partners like suppliers and customers, and internal partners like Innovation, Operations, Customer Services, Procurement and Marketing.
• This role offers the opportunity to build relationships and create alignment with several partners impacting X-ray detector technology.

You're the Right Fit If:

• Have obtained a MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field, with 5+ years of technical development and demonstrated ability in People & Project management with strong communication skills.
• Experienced with Healthcare Regulatory aspects (FDA 820.x, IEC 62304, IEC60601, ISO13485, ISO14971), effective communication skills and a continuous improvement attitude.
• Strong understanding of healthcare products and hardware development / maintenance.
• Experience in X-ray detector technologies is considered a plus.
• Proven ability in cross-functional alignment and stakeholder management (including customers and suppliers) in order to realize the optimal integral result.
