EY is increasing our focus on one of our largest and most important clients within the Private Equity sector. As the Account Manager, you will become part of an account team driving the global account strategy, rigorous account planning and relationship development across the client’s organization. You will be accountable for the account planning and structure and be deeply involved in discussions and agreements with the client as well as with our teams working globally with the client. In addition, you will have the ability to work with inspiring opportunities and largely influence your own working day. You will become a part of our global network of professionals, a cross section of various competencies and skills that foster high quality and knowledge sharing.This role will preferably be based in Stockholm, but other Nordic large cities can be discussed. Travel to Stockholm will then be expected.
Your key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will be to drive the sales activity up and to act as a (hunter) to drive more business to EY Insourcing. You will focus on the market in Stockholm and the surrounding area but will also contribute to sales on a national level with a primary focus on new customer processing. You will closely cooperate with other sales teams at national level. This position means that some traveling on duty may occur.Moreover, you will be responsible for:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and lead generation activities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets by employing effective negotiation and closing techniques, converting leads into successful deals.
  • Collaborative Sales Strategies: Collaborate with the sales teams in other cities to develop and implement innovative sales strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Sales Activity Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, including calls, meetings, and follow-ups, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing client inquiries and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Market Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to inform and enhance sales strategies.

Skills Requirements:

  • Ability to team with other key people across geographies to formulate the best strategy to serve the client, as well as working within a matrix organization, balancing the needs of the client against business initiatives and goals
  • Leads the progress of the business development process and addresses any gaps
  • Identifies opportunities and takes actions to build strategic relationships
  • Proven sound judgment and flexibility in balancing multiple projects, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule, with high attention to details

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Preferably have a university degree in economics, business or sales.
  • Experience from the industry and preferably one of the Big Four Companies is a big advantage
  • Have 5+ years of business development/sales and/or consultancy experience in the professional services and solutions arena
  • Experience from Private Equity is an advantage
  • Have strong team selling experience and project management skills
  • Be fluent in English, speaking Swedish is as an advantage
