Developer Platform Investigator Responsibilities
  • Investigate complex cases using a variety of methodologies (on and off platform) to understand how abuse is occurring and attribute the person(s) responsible. Identify enforcement strategies to mitigate harm in the current case and from similar abuse.
  • Document findings in high quality and concise investigative reports while managing sensitive or confidential data.
  • Conduct research to identify broader patterns of abuse, and develop strategies to prevent and disrupt threats at scale that can impact our API products.
  • Manage, coordinate, and/or support projects to improve investigative or business processes as needed.
  • This role may require on-call shifts outside of normal business hours.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in investigations, intelligence, trust and safety, or similar analytical roles
  • Experience drafting analytical reports and documenting technical and non-technical evidence and findings
  • Experience managing projects with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data analytics programming languages
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: data misuse, APIs, privacy, 3rd party risk management, mobile apps
  • Experience with open source investigation techniques and familiarity with a variety of internet research tools
