WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Innovation Engineer – working student (f/m/d) at the SAP Innovation Center Network, you will:

  • Be part of the developers building the flagship business decision simulator with generative AI
  • Apply novel technological approaches and tools for solving business problems in iterative experiments
  • Research and document emerging technology trends that can be applied to business challenges
  • Assess the potential, limitations/risks, and readiness of new approaches in an SAP context
  • Help translate new concepts and ideas into prototypes that enable assessment of feasibility and desirability
  • Collaborate with SAP line of business units, startups, and industry to identify and solve business challenges with technology

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Candidates to currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s degree program which is applicable to the position (computer science or equivalent proven experience)
  • Familiarity with cloud native development, scalable architectures, containers, and DevOps tools (e.g. Docker, CI/CD)
  • Familiarity with back-end languages and frameworks (e.g. Scala, Python). § Familiarity with database systems (e.g. HANA, PostgreSQL, Cassandra etc.), Application Servers (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss).
  • Familiarity in web application development technologies (e.g. Typescript & React).
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel. § Passion for transferring disruptive technology into innovative products.
