You will work as a part of a highly motivated team and apply agile development practices like pair programming, test driven development and continuous integration and delivery. That also means getting familiar with the newest technologies and open-source projects.

Responsibilities Include:

• Challenging software development tasks, full stack, working with the most advanced technologies
• Research, design and implement complex product features and functionalities for cutting edge cloud technologies as part of SAP Business Technology Platform
• Commit on project timeline and tasks, deliver on time, in scope and with high, un-compromised, quality
• Develop and enhance automatic tests
• Work in Agile development methodologies, being a member of a scrum team
• Collaborate effectively with the team of enthusiastic developers and stakeholders
• Lead backlog items and tasks while guiding other developers for best execution
• Gain advanced overall product and technical knowledge to be able to share with others
• Focus on End to End – from software requirement until delivery on cloud
• Continuously measure and improve the performance of our systems

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• BA in Computer Science or Software engineering
• At least 5 years of proven development experience
• Knowledge and experience in Cloud Native paradigms
• Excellent knowledge in multiple modern programming languages e.g: Go, Java
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, K8S)
• Automation savvy – Jenkins, Maven, Unit-Test, Selenium
• Curiosity and ability to quickly understand and learn new technologies, concepts and tools
• Experience and knowledge in Agile/Scrum methodology
• Team player. Excellent communication and teamwork skills (The team and the development manager are based in Israel).
• Results driven with excellent execution skills. Self-managed.
• Fluent English

Extra Points For:

• Familiar with Kubernetes principles and developing with K8S tool (e.g comfortable with using kubectl to describe a cluster)
• Familiarity with cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud)
• Experience with continues integration and continues delivery methodology and tools
• Experience with development in microservices architecture
• Experience with development in Cloud Foundry environment
• Experience with cloud service monitoring and operations
