Job Description:

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Delivering world-class Tools, Flows and Methodologies (TFM) to Intel's IP, Core, and SoC product design teams
  • PerformingPower/Performance/Areatrade-off exploration and analysis
  • Enabling leading edge process technologies on Intel and external foundries
  • Enhancing design team productivity by increasing throughput, reducing iterations, and enabling larger and larger blocks
  • Working on cutting edge technologies such as Machine Learning and Cloud
  • Driving customer TFM issues with EDA vendors
Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree inElectrical/Computer/SoftwareEngineering, Computer Science or any related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree inElectrical/Computer/SoftwareEngineering, Computer Science or any related field with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Above relevant experience should include any of the following:
    • Timing ECO (using industry tools PrimeClosure, PrimeTime ECO, Tempus)
    • Programing languages (any of these are good, don’t need all) “TCL” , “Python”, “Perl”

Preferred qualifications:

  • Direct hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • EDA/CAD vendor tools (Synopsys: PrimeTime, PrimeClosure, PrimeTime ECO, Cadence: Tempus) experience.
  • Designcreation/convergence,Sign Off, and Closure Flows (Extraction, Timing, Power, Noise, ERC, RV, and Formal Equivalence)Circuit design and process technology
  • Programming in a scripting language like Python, Perl or TCL
  • Machine Learning (ML) and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI)Join us at Intel and become a driving force behind the mechanical and thermal solutions shaping tomorrow's innovations.
