Position: Instructional Designer – Associate
Education:Any Graduate
1 – 4 years of relevant experience
Your key responsibilities
- Participate in Skills Needs Analysis (SNA) conversations and document key points.
- Assist Senior IDs in leading SNA conversations and draft learning objectives based on completed SNA.
- Assist in preparing Design Specifications and independently review learning design against EY Learning Design Quality Checklist.
- Draft all deliverables (leader guides, participant materials, storyboards, video scripts, and other materials) based on Design specifications.
- Write assessments and practice questions based on learning objectives and review all deliverables for content flow, accuracy, language, and adherence to standards.
- Independently liaise with SMRs for technical reviews and review storyboards against EY Learning Design Quality Checklist.
- Demonstrate basic to intermediate proficiency in creating and editing self-study programs using rapid authoring tools, such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, while learning and applying foundational eLearning tool skills under guidance.
- Demonstrate exceptional writing skills while designing all types of learning materials/deliverables and good communication skills when liaising with graphic designers, Senior IDs, and SMRs.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to collaborative efforts, assisting with design tasks and learning to communicate effectively within the team.
- Develop the ability to adapt to new design recommendations based on rationale, embracing learning opportunities and remaining open to feedback and guidance.
- Develop leadership skills by taking on small responsibilities and seeking mentorship, while actively learning from senior team members.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 1 to 4 years of experience in designing courses and other learning items.
- Experience in assisting with the design of effective learning solutions across different modalities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and basic knowledge of rapid authoring tools.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, stressful environments to deliver required results.
