This work helps to accelerate decision making and set our overseas factory partners up for success. To accomplish this, you will:
- Take part in a rigorous onboarding program designed to teach you the skills you will need to become a footwear pattern engineer.
- Communicate with Nike footwear designers, developers, and engineers across multiple categories to understand their vision for the shoe.
- Utilize PROCAM Dimensions CAD software to translate design sketches into footwear patterns.
- Create footwear prototypes using a combination of machinery and hands-on making
- Collaborate with teammates across a wide range of functions within the BFL and Nike footwear.
- Educate the greater Nike footwear community through your assistance in Shoe School classes.
