Position Summary:

  • The 360C Technology Business Product Manager (BPM) serves as the primary strategist and operations manager for the technology components of the 360C program, reporting directly to the 360C Lead. In this role, the BPM drives technology initiatives related to the program, ensuring that both front-end and back-end design and functionality align with evolving business needs. The BPM also leads the sign-off process for the Business Requirements & Design (BRD) document and acts as a liaison between the business and development teams during the finalization of wireframes. Additionally, this role collaborates closely with Senior Leadership Deputies in Assurance and Tax to enhance the strategic vision of the 360 dashboard and support continuous improvement efforts.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for the technology components of 360C, identifying new technology needs and driving all 360C technology initiatives based on design and functionality requirements for both front-end and back-end.
  • Owns, delivers, and communicates the technology strategy and requirements to the 360C Lead.
  • Leads the Business Requirements & Design (BRD) document sign-off process, including:
  • Reviewing the initial BRD prepared by the business.
  • Partnering with the development team to finalize front and back-end wireframes.
  • Collaborating with roles such as the Taskforce / Business Lead, Technical Product Manager and Tech Co-Leads for BRD approval.
  • Acts as the primary contact for the Technical Product Manager to ensure technology design aligns with BRD requirements.
  • Develops the business product vision and roadmap that drives the technical product roadmap for both the 360 dashboard and Weverse.
  • Collaborates with the Weverse Business Product Manager to ensure integration between the 360 dashboard, Weverse design build, and the overall 360 program strategy.
  • Collaborates with Senior Leadership Deputies in Assurance and Tax to enhance the strategic vision of the 360 dashboard and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conceptualizes and oversees all design aspects of Dashboard development, including managing the Master File and strategically developing functionality upgrades based on stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborates with development teams to compile and implement necessary Dashboard enhancements, track points of contact, and gather testing feedback for continuous improvements.
  • Establishes and maintains an update schedule in coordination with relevant stakeholders, ensuring proper Dashboard maintenance techniques are implemented by the development teams.
  • Monitors dashboard performance, user activity, and error rates.
  • Manages communication strategies and training of the Dashboard.
  • Monitors support email questions and acts as a liaison between the development team, business stakeholders, and 360 Careers participants.
  • Manages and oversees the 360C technology budget and scope for dashboard development, design, and enhancements, in partnership with the PMO/Data Operations role.
  • Engages with reporting and analytics teams to address user experience capabilities and reporting needs from internal and external requirements.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new hires on the 360 dashboard and Weverse.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current and emerging technology trends to identify new technology needs for the 360C program.
  • Review and assess proposed enhancements to the Dashboard and Weverse, utilizing data-driven insights for informed decision-making.
  • Continuously analyze dashboard performance metrics, user activity, and error rates to identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate and manage the budget and scope for dashboard development and enhancements to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Engage with the 360C Lead and Senior SL Leadership to analyze feedback and reporting needs, facilitating strategic discussions for continuous improvement.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of technology trends and best practices in both front-end and back-end development.
  • Proficiency in business analysis and requirements gathering, including experience with Business Requirements Documents (BRD).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management, business case development, and scope definition.
  • Analytical skills to assess performance metrics and user feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with user experience design principles and reporting/analytics tools.

Supervision Responsibilities:

Supervision Received:

  • Reports directly to the 360C Lead, receiving guidance on strategic direction and program priorities.
  • Collaborates with Senior Leadership Deputies in Assurance and Tax for alignment on the strategic vision of the dashboard.
  • Works closely with the Technical Product Manager, Taskforce Lead, and Technology Co-Leads to secure approval for the Business Requirements Document (BRD).
  • Receives input and feedback from the Technical Product Manager and other stakeholders regarding technology requirements and enhancements.
  • Engages with the development teams to understand technical constraints and opportunities, receiving direction on implementation.
  • Participates in regular check-ins with leadership to discuss progress, challenges, and resource needs.

Supervision of Others:

  • Oversees the work of development teams during the implementation of dashboard enhancements, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, Data Analytics, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications (such as PMP, CAPM, or Six Sigma) are strongly preferred. Experience in technology management or product management may also be considered in lieu of advanced degrees.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7/8 years of experience in a medium-to-large environment, with a focus on technology management, business analysis, and project management.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing technology initiatives is preferred.
  • Proven track record in data analytics, including data interpretation, reporting, and utilizing analytics tools to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and collaboration with senior leadership is desirable.

Certification Requirements:

Preferred certifications for this role:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or Six Sigma certification is preferred.
  • Data analytics certifications (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional or Google Data Analytics Certificate) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with product management frameworks or certifications (e.g., Certified Product Manager) is beneficial.
