As aGlobal Portfolio Managerwithin Advanced Materials and Transportation Platform's Specialty Materials portfolio you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Develop and execute the portfolio strategy and lifecycle management approach for assigned portfolios
• Lead a major new product introduction through scale-up phase and execute the marketing deliverables by working with cross-functional, area, and key country team members
• Collaborate with Marketing, Application Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R&D, Business Services, and other SMEs
• Lead the development and execution of the pricing strategy and pricing corridors for both new product programs and existing products to improve financial outcomes
• Conduct demand planning to ensure optimal inventory levels and meet customer needs
• Lead the generation of customer, competitor, and market insights, including development and execution of market research plans
• Other duties as assigned

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Eight (8) years of experience in a combination of portfolio management, pricing, demand planning in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree or graduate degree
• Experience in chemical processing industry, aerospace, or other industries with spec-in business models
• Ability to lead and motivate a global, cross-functional team
• Superior communication skills and demonstrated experience conducting presentations to all levels, including senior management
• Strong analytical and financial skills
• Strategic thinker with high-energy, positive attitude, and passion for winning
• Experience with product launches and/or commercialization

• Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to St. Paul, MN at least 3 days per week)
