Senior Estimator - hybrid

As aat Honeywell, inBucharest, you will provide necessarySales Support / Estimation functions to front end Sales Offices and AccountManagers globally for PMC – Process Measurement and Control line of business.


Key responsibilities:

  • Take active part in development, co-ordinate and implement the standard Global estimating templates and processes in the region and leverage the use of Global Sales Support Tools like Salesforce, CPQ and SAP etc. for professional proposals that demonstrate business benefits.
  • Complete Ownership of Proposal Estimation Deliveries.
  • Work and co-ordinate with RSM, Sourcing Team for support on 3rd party, sales/ account managers for respective region in making proposals. The scope contains both Honeywell and third party products.
  • Interact directly with team and sales to establish requirements of proposal makings, communicate with internal and external customers in an easily understood manner.
  • Select the proper combination of hardware equipment, materials and services that will deliver the highest value to the customer while supporting overall Honeywell business objectives.
  • Preparing the Techno - Commercial Proposals in standardized format as well as handling of all the TQs and responses.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • BS or BA or BE degree – Preferred in: Instrumentation Engineering, Chemical and electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Oil&Gas, Technology (or equivalent knowledge / experience in the field).
  • 3+years of experience in oil&gas/ industrial sales/ sales support / Proposal &estimation / Bid management, knowledge of products and solutionsin Oil&Gas market (Knowledge of Gas products: Gas and Flame Detection products. Will be considered a plus knowledges of Regulators, Filters, Slam Shut valves, Metering products.
  • Experience in supporting customers / end users in multiple verticals and networking with OEMs, EPCs and consultants.
  • Fluent English (Other language knowledge will be considered as advantage).
  • Understanding of customers’ business including decision making and buying processes.
