About the Role

- - - - What the Candidate Will Do ----

• End-to-end test design, execution and maintenance of new features in the UberEats space with US product/engineering teams and offshore/onshore testing vendors
• Serve as a dependable point of contact between cross-functional teams and offshore testers
• Create flexible processes that meet team needs and help keep the teams working efficiently
• Ensure regular regression testing of existing features is done in a timely manner
• Identify quality gaps and recommend tech, process and tooling improvements
• Communicate issues related to testing and propose solutions to remedy issues
• Contribute to automating testing scripts for features
• Work with offshore bug management team to ensure that bugs are triaged and follow up to resolution
• Work closely with offshore testers to ensure that their deliverables are of high quality and on-time
• Work closely with Release Management to ensure timely release of our apps
• Work as Embedded QA to translate Product/Engineering Requirements into core flows and test cases

- - - - Basic Qualifications ----

• Experience driving alignment with peers, managers and cross functional teams (engineering, operations, release, data science, program management, external testing contractors/entities)
• Experience leading multiple testing efforts simultaneously, distributing work for and track parallel testing projects
• Experience acquiring and sharing subject matter expertise in the product application/features being tested
• Self starter who has a keen eye for improvement opportunities
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

- - - - Preferred Qualifications ----

• Prior technical lead experience (5+ years)
• Quality assurance of global consumer applications in a continuous integration/continuous delivery environment
• Testing highly scalable end-to-end web and mobile experiences
• Working across different time zones (US/India mostly)
• Experience processing and analyzing data sets to recommend/make improvements
• Experience or understanding of A/B testing
