Your responsibilities include:

  • Identifies and implements effective process control systems to support the development, qualification, and manufacturing of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements
  • Supports culture of continuous improvement by driving enhancements to existing process controls
  • Proactively investigates, identifies, and implements best-in-class Quality Engineering practices
  • Leads the implementation of process control, corrective or preventive action solutions designed to meet or exceed internal and external requirements
  • Applies sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues
  • Actively engages production teams across all shifts to develop solutions leading to improved outgoing quality
  • Provides leadership role on championing departmental or cross-functional engineering initiatives
  • Provides project direction, coaching, and mentoring engineering and technical team personnel
  • Acts as an effective leader or team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices
  • Assures the development and execution of streamlined business systems which effectively identify and resolve quality issues
  • Participates in team decision making and displays team problem solving/communication skills

What we’re looking for:
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience owning cross functional improvement and/or corrective action projects
  • Strong data analysis skills (Excel, Minitab, etc.)
  • Self-starter with proven ability to successfully work with minimal supervision
  • Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 year Engineering degree
  • Demonstrated project management success
  • 2 years minimum experience in the medical device, biotechnology or other highly regulated industry
  • 4 years minimum experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to influence without authority
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
