We are looking for a talented person who will be responsible for developing and account managing our expanding Grocery Partnerships business. This role has a key focus on managing day-to-day relationships with strategic partners in Grocery Marketplace and driving business growth strategies in its early-mid stages. You will be key contact points for our partners (grocery merchants), and expected to influence their decision making by delivering insight rooted in analysis of market trends and financial data. You will need proven ability to establish firm relationships with internal and external counterparts.
Key job responsibilities
• You will be in charge of establishing and deepening our relationship with our Grocery partners to meet our business targets.
• You will lead strategic goal/target creation with the partners and be accountable for the goal/target.
• You will own financials P&L for the account and proactively set countermeasures towards possible impacts to the financials.
• You must be an effective communicator and will work closely with cross-functional teams including Program/Product Managers, - Operations, Marketing, Legal, PR as well as Finance to secure high quality service level and drive business activities in order to secure sustainable growth.
• You will be responsible for making short and long term strategy for partner’s sustainable development through consultation, identifying growth opportunities, deep diving analysis and tracking partner’s KPIs to achieve goals.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Fluent Japanese, business level English
• Several years of relevant work experience in Buying/Planning or equivalent experiences such as Management Consulting, Finance, Merchandising, or Business Operations
• Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills that enable you to earn trust at all levels
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis with demonstrated ability to dive in and quickly understand root cause and identify scalable solutions
• Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Must possess excellent business judgment, strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves
• Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA or related Master’s degree
• Experience building relationships and driving growth with large retailers and e-commerce businesses
• Familiarity with SQL (basic queries)
• Experience in e-commerce or retail
• Experience in Grocery
