As a Vice President in Wealth Management Planning & Analysis, you will be able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with a practical orientation to developing and maintaining an end-to-end transformation roadmap. In addition to being a seasoned and well trained professional, you will be a strategic thinker with the ability to execute roadmaps, inspire confidence, foster teamwork and to collaborate closely with finance and technology leaders and internal stakeholders. You must be able to understand the needs of advisors, branch employees, field managers, operations and service personnel, and how to effectively roll out change and drive adoption to a broad field organization that includes multiple distribution channels.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between Finance teams and MIS in order to provide impactful reporting and insightful analyses
  • Collaborate with business partners across planning & analysis (P&A), Finance Teams and MIS to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery of projects impacting reporting
  • Act as a subject matter expert for finance teams in addressing issues/questions around reporting capabilities, data organization, new projects and MIS procedures.
  • Conduct "deep dive" analyses on key issues impacting client to determine root cause and propose solutions
  • Produce presentations, analysis and supporting materials for key internal clients including senior management; participate and lead ad-hoc special projects
  • Coordinate between business, finance, and central P&A teams to meet analytical requirements and timelines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders: firm-wide, Functional Finance and lines of business teams

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of relevant P&A experience in the financial services industry
  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • Strong data, MIS, and strategy background and ability to successfully navigate competitive landscape and industry pressure and ability to paint a vision for how to innovate
  • Problem solver with strong critical thinking skills, communication, organizational, analytical, and technical skills
  • Highly self-reliant individual with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented, results-oriented environment
  • Strong work ethic not easily deterred by challenging circumstances; desire to create and build within an entrepreneurial, start-up like environment
  • Ability to articulate financial results to a variety of audiences (internal & external)
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues, and desire to learn quickly, be flexible and think strategically
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skillset (Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Understanding of Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) and/or Wealth Management preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Python, SQL and Alteryx desired
