As a Financial Analysis, Vice President on the Asset & Wealth Management team, you will influence outcomes for the business and challenge performance. You will be accountable for core financial discipline, analyzing and demonstrating the value from the organization, and diligently managing headcount all in partnership with business management. You will be an integral part of our efforts to strategically manage capital, drive growth and efficiencies, maintain financial reporting and proactively manage risk. By providing information, analysis and recommendations to improve results and drive decisions, our teams ensure the company can navigate all types of market conditions while protecting our fortress balance sheet.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor. Work closely with senior management to help them understand their financials and partner to improve the function using data driven insights
  • Analyze and produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial management reporting that is accurate and timely; develop clear, insightful, and action-oriented materials
  • Gain a deep understanding of the business, non-financial metrics, and how the organization drives value within the broader business
  • Drive transformation and continual improvement to help create a well-controlled environment, automating where possible
  • Partner with other AWM F&BM members to understand broader business context and to create an impact beyond Operations, including Business Management, Technology, and Finance teams to achieve business objectives
  • Assist in analytical ad-hoc requests and support various stakeholders

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong skills in strategic thinking, decision making, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate, both verbal and written, with stakeholders, including senior management, articulating key takeaways
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly strength in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Skills in Essbase, Anaplan, SAP, Tableau, Alteryx, and Python
  • Experience in financial planning, accounting, or controller roles in the financial services industry
