The Software Automation Tools Expert will be required to work independently and with other members of the automation team to deliver automation solutions to support the network optimization market teams.

• Requirements analysis and software design
• Implementation of new automation tools and enhancements to existing software tools
• Implementation of new RAN features into the automation tools.
• Tool issue investigation, troubleshooting, and debugging
• Ability to communicate with subject matter experts, end-users, and the automation tools team to develop requirements, communicate progress, and resolve issues.
• Interfaces with customers to provide network design and performance related services, according to the solutions portfolio
• Operates in compliance with the processes, security methods and tools linked to the job

• Requirements analysis and software design
• Implementation of new automation tools and enhancements to existing software tools

• A minimum of 1-3 years work experience in software development/engineering projects
• High proficiency in Python language programming (Basic & Advanced)
• Proficiency in web-based development (HTML, Javascript, Flask Python Microframework, Angular, React)
• Proficiency in Linux bash scripting; Windows batch scripting
• Experience in interfacing python tools with relational databases – Atleast 2 of these (Clickhouse, Presto, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Postgress)
• Experience with software configuration management tools: git (preferred); Rational Clear Case or SVN-Subversion
• Project experience in Microsoft Office tools automation (Excel/VBA, Outlook, ODBC)
• Result oriented with focus on product quality and customer satisfaction
• Team player, open communication and ability to work in international team
• Excellent Communication skills
• Good knowledge of 5G & LTE network architecture, and network optimization - Optional
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Programming
• Experience with Ericsson & Nokia network systems is a must
• Telecommunication – LTE/5G Technology experience is a plus
