NL Corporate Income Tax DirectorYour role:
  • Advising and providing support to the Head of Tax Benelux on direct tax matters, which include a.o. Dutch corporate income taxation, Dutch dividend withholding taxation and international taxation.

  • Advising and providing support to Philips organization as Philips Treasury, Enabling functions etc. on Dutch and international tax matters.

  • Providing support to, and reviewing of, the process with respect to the Dutch corporate income tax returns.

  • Providing support to, and reviewing of, the process with respect to the Dutch Dividend Withholding tax return.

  • Providing support to, and reviewing of, the process with respect to the tax returns of minimum taxation, Cbcr reporting, Master- and local files.

  • Providing support to, and reviewing of, the process with respect to Dutch tax accounting positions for corporate income tax and dividend withholding tax.

  • Participating in, and preparation of, regular meetings with the Dutch Tax authorities on various direct tax topics related to corporate income tax returns, dividend withholding taxes, transfer pricing, acquisitions and divestments.

  • Providing support to the periodical Dutch Tax forecasting process and provide Tax (P&L and Cash) guidance for short, mid to long term.

  • Contributing to the Group tax team goals.

You are part of:

You will be part of the Group Tax NL team located in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. This team consists of four members who are collectively responsible for all Dutch direct taxes and related tax accounting processes within Philips. You will report to the Head of Tax Benelux.

You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:
  • A master’s degree in tax law or tax economics (fiscaal recht of fiscale economie) and membership (or former membership) of the Dutch association of tax advisers (NOB).

  • Demonstrable experience, 6-10 years, in the field of Dutch corporate income taxation and international taxation with a reputable tax advisory firm or large multinational company.

  • Very strong analytical skills with an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.

  • Excellent (re)presentation, communication skills.

  • Dutch native speaker and fluent in English (both verbally and in writing).

  • Flexible and a creative out of the box approach to challenges.

  • Team player and entrepreneurial in spirit.
