As a Payment Lifecycle Specialist IV within our Payment Services team, you'll collaborate with clients and partners, leveraging your advanced analysis, critical thinking, and risk management skills. You'll play a key role in maintaining our commitment to excellence by driving accuracy, enhancing risk control, and spearheading process improvements. Job Responsibilities

  • Acquire a thorough understanding of the systems, processes, and reports utilized by the Quality Control team
  • Perform tasks with accuracy, care, and precision, aiming for "zero defects" in processed work
  • Escalate issues to management in a timely manner
  • Maintain a strong focus on risk and control
  • Validate 100% of system maintenance performed by processors in the operating units, specifically in Critical Entry and Payments
  • Ensure correct interpretation of requests by processors
  • Document errors through error correction forms and ensure corrections are made accurately and within Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Follow established scripts and protocols to resolve basic or repetitive issues within set guidelines

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong analytical skills with a process-oriented mindset
  • Ability to understand billing processes and associated details
  • Proficiency in using mainframe and common PC-based software packages, including MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and organize and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • College degree or equivalent work experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of the billing services and payment processing industry
  • Experience in billing operations is preferred
  • Ability to communicate professionally and interpersonally with others
  • Flexibility and adaptability to constant change
  • Ability to interpret billing processes and associated details
