As a Payment Lifecycle Specialist IV within our Payment Services team, you'll collaborate with clients and partners, leveraging your advanced analysis, critical thinking, and risk management skills. Job Responsibilities
- Acquire a thorough understanding of the systems, processes, and reports utilized by the Quality Control team
- Perform tasks with accuracy, care, and precision, aiming for "zero defects" in processed work
- Escalate issues to management in a timely manner
- Maintain a strong focus on risk and control
- Validate 100% of system maintenance performed by processors in the operating units, specifically in Critical Entry and Payments
- Ensure correct interpretation of requests by processors
- Document errors through error correction forms and ensure corrections are made accurately and within Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Follow established scripts and protocols to resolve basic or repetitive issues within set guidelines
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong analytical skills with a process-oriented mindset
- Ability to understand billing processes and associated details
- Proficiency in using mainframe and common PC-based software packages, including MS Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and organize and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- College degree or equivalent work experience is a plus
- Knowledge of the billing services and payment processing industry
- Experience in billing operations is preferred
- Ability to communicate professionally and interpersonally with others
- Flexibility and adaptability to constant change
