About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will initiate, develop, administer, and execute meetings and events aligned with R&D/PMO objectives. You will also be responsible for travel coordination, including management of global travel credentials for executives and directors. Additional responsibilities will include contract maintenance, onboarding coordination, budgeting, creating presentations and tracking performance metrics. In this role you will learn/development skills that will support a future career in project management.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Fosters strong relationships with key customers, both internal and external.
  • Communicates clearly & proactively to all levels of management and key stakeholders.
  • Works closely with R&D and PMO leadership, to develop, coordinate and execute scheduling key meetings, Physician engagements & departmental events.
  • Help coordinate and streamline the new hire training process, by running onboarding.
  • Monitors departmental training compliance and drives actions to achieve metrics.
  • Partners with and manages vendor contracts to ensure that initiatives meet objectives. Directs and initiates solutions in support of continuous improvement.
  • Defines, tracks, and maintains administrative budget. Ensures cost-saving measures and spending within the allocated amount.
  • Creates presentations to share departmental and project related data as requested. (Metrics, budgets, training compliance, etc.)

Required qualifications:

  • Three or more years of experience in project coordination or a combination of project coordination and executive level administration experience.
  • Must be assertive, decisive, technology savvy and self-motivated.
  • Ability to learn new software tools and work effectively in a high-tech environment.
  • Must have experience coordinating teams and managing complex travel or events.
  • Proven success in a corporate setting, working with all levels of management.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred qualifications and competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
  • Experience with the Microsoft 365 suite, including Microsoft Teams and ability to develop presentations suitable for executive audiences.
  • Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional)
