This pivotal role drives revenue growth and market share expansion across the Benelux and Ireland markets, focusing on developing new business and managing client relationships within large corporate and international subsidiary clients. Deep expertise in trade finance, working capital solutions, and the specific dynamics of both markets is crucial. This position requires a highly motivated, proactive, results-oriented individual with exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical abilities, coupled with a strong understanding of international business practices.
What you’ll do
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement tailored sales strategies across both the Benelux and Ireland clients to achieve revenue targets and increase market penetration. This includes proactive lead generation, opportunity qualification, pipeline management, and leveraging data-driven insights to target potential clients effectively. Collaborate with marketing to create and execute impactful regional campaigns.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key decision-makers within existing and potential clients across both regions. Demonstrate a deep understanding of their unique business requirements and challenges, providing tailored solutions and acting as a trusted advisor. Regularly engage with clients to identify new opportunities and ensure sustained satisfaction.
Revenue Generation: Deliver client revenue budgets through the expansion and maintenance of existing global facilities and proactive ramp up of new mandates.
Collaboration & Coordination: Foster close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including, Product Management, Global Solution Sales, Corporate Banking, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams, to ensure smooth deal execution and adherence to all relevant regulations and company policies across both regions. Maintain consistent and transparent communication with all involved parties globally to ensure seamless client connectivity.
What we’ll need from you
A proven track record of successful sales performance, ideally within the financial services sector, with a focus on trade finance and/or working capital solutions.
Demonstrated ability to manage intricate sales cycles and secure deals with large corporate clients across multiple regions.
Comprehensive understanding of a wide range of trade finance products and services, including letters of credit, guarantees, receivables finance, supply chain finance, and other relevant solutions.
Exceptional communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and presentation skills, with the capacity to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
Fluency in English is mandatory. Fluency in Dutch and/or French is highly advantageous for the Benelux market.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, is essential.
