Job responsibilities:
- Build and expand Treasurer / CFO relationships with multinational clients in Brazil, focusing on the origination of corporate banking opportunities (e.g. cash management, trade, fx & rates, commodities, financing)
- Develop active dialogue at headquarter and local levels, educating clients on J.P. Morgan's corporate banking capabilities in Brazil
- Partner with headquarter bankers and product partners to identify new business opportunities and collaborate on deal execution
- Create forward-looking business plans for existing and prospective clients
- Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met with J.P. Morgan's array of corporate banking products
- Responsible for conversion of client analysis into concrete financial solutions
- Escalate the needs of clients with local and regional product partners to drive product development ideas
- Conduct regular cross functional reviews with peers (locally and regionally) to ensure coordinated management of client relationships and business opportunities
- Ensure that a strong Risk & Control framework is maintained, adhering to J.P. Morgan’s KYC, AML, GFCC, PAD, PEP, and Reputational Risk policies.
- Role requires travel domestically and internationally to meet clients and headquarter partners
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in English and Portuguese.
- Strong analytical skills, commercial judgment, and influencing abilities
- Strong interpersonal and client prospecting skills
- Ability to lead and work in a cross-cultural team environment
- Corporate banking experience
Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Spanish is a plus
- Credit experience and knowledge of J.P. Morgan products are a plus
