Performs Supply Chain, Master Data, and Logistics functions, such as material procurement, production planning and inventory control. Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers. Responsibilities are within the Supply Chain and Logistics Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage Packaging Materials Requirements to support the Packaging Plan and place and manage POs in support of the plan.
  • Identify and escalate issues to the SC Head that may impact the weekly commitments that cannot be resolved in this horizon
  • Create and Maintain Work Orders in ERP system in line with Supply Chain & Operations team input.
  • Track Supply Chain metrics and highlight and manage action items.
  • Communicate material requirements to supporting departments to ensure priorities are established in other departments to support the MPS in the firm zones
  • Gather and Update data for assigned KPIs for the Tier meetings
  • Work with Ops Team to ensure the required materials are available and will be delivered and released within the requested timeframe
  • Support by attending the manufacturing/packing shop floor meetings (Lean, Tier)
  • Support the root cause/corrective actions of all underlying issues for activities under role responsibility.
  • If requested, develop information as required by the S&OP process
  • Complete information related to role to support monthly Supply Chain Meetings.
  • Run report and complete basic analysis to determine but not limited to material readiness, appropriate inventory levels, projected write-offs, projected goods-receipt, etc.
  • Maintain Master Data and system updates/info in local ERP system.
  • Ability to work with internal supervisors/managers and support departments to accurately schedule the business needs, with inputs/recommendations to be reflected in the finite schedule
  • Back up SC Packaging Planning Manager role with such duties as:
  • Update the Packaging Plan, Upload SAP Commits, Update DSC system with Net Requirements, Issue Bulk Purchasing Orders, Participate/Lead Weekly Huddle Calls.

Position Requirements:

Education Required:
College Diploma or University degree in Science, Business, Engineering or Supply Chain

Education Preferred - CPIM or equivalent is preferred
Experience Required - 1+ years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical industry preferred).

Experience Preferred - Working knowledge in Supply Chain Role such as Procurement, Planning, Scheduling and Logistics.

Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed - Experience working in a Production/Packaging plant
Functional Knowledge - ERP systems, MS Office package
Physical Requirements - On-Site
