• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
• Understand all purchase order procedures and global supply chain policies. Assist in implementing supply chain policies and procedures through purchasing system or key documentation
• Performs statistical analysis to support decision making modeling for product selection, market forecasting, and Group Purchasing Organizations profitability
• Creates and manages, along with the Director of Supply Chain, Generics, company forecasting on new, single, and multiply source products coming to market
• Strategically manages with other Supply Chain personnel the optimal inventory breakdown and achieves company inventory turn objectives. Analyzes, develops and recommends plans through the collection of historical data, industry trends and competitive dynamics. Collaborates with team members to plan, recommend and achieve inventory objectives, supports goals to meet objectives, cost savings and inventory goals.
• Demonstrate the ability to use electronic equipment for work processing, data management, information retrieval, visual presentations and telecommunications,
• Analyzes the profitability of new product proposals, bids, and rebate agreements and works to identify and develop plans to execute opportunities to increase generic gross profit.
• Studies market pricing to ensure Anda is competitive from a costing and pricing perspective on an individual item basis.
• Develops and improves supplier relationships. Takes initiative, develops partnerships with internal and external customers and manufacturers and maximizes efficiencies for information flow across functions to ensure product supply.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Your experience and qualifications

: Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited college or university, and/or a minimum of at least two (2) to five (5) years experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Knowledge of:

• Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements.
• Inventory analysis, forecasting, purchasing services and supply management.
• SCORE buying systems, TPS and/or JDE.
• Distribution, supplier negotiations, market pricing and contracting industry.
• Intermediate to advanced level computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Access.
• Current Company policies and practices, including safety rules and regulations.

Skill in:

• Planning, implementing goals, objectives and practices for effective, efficient and cost effective management of allocated resources and highest quality of product satisfaction.
• Analyzing problems, projecting consequences of proposed actions, and implementing recommendations that support department goals and objectives.
• Researching, analyzing and evaluating new product development materials, methods, procedures and techniques.
• Ability to think logically and assess, track, and measure the effectiveness of the data analysis deliverables to achieve goals and objectives.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills and excellent quantitative and organizational skills.
• Analyzing and performing profitability models.
• Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Organizing multiple projects and assignments.
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.


Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Incumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor, moderate noise levels and occasional business travel. Work is performed in an office environment.
