Bachelor’s Degree in a hardware-focused field (Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
3+ years experience performing product characterization including mechanical stress test, shock/drop/vibration testing, environmental testing
Ability to travel internationally
Strong attention to detail and curiosity of how technologies work
Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills
Master's or PHD in a hardware-focused field (Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering)
Statistical experience such as Weibull, JMP, or familiarity with accelerated test models
Familiar with Failure Analysis techniques (Optical Microscopy, X-ray/CT, Scanning Electron Microscopy/Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy, etc.), and the ability to use failure analysis methodology to derive a root cause of failure
Capable of balancing multiple projects at once
Dynamic engineer with a proactive attitude and desire to work closely with domestic and international cross-functional teams
Consumer electronics experience is a plus
