As a Space Simulation Lab Support Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks throughout the facility. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast paced, start-up like environment. To be successful you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing the highest standards of execution.Key job responsibilities
Operation of environmental test chambers (Thermal cycling, vacuum, HALT/HASS)
Install instrumentation on various types of hardware and fixtures
Execute electronic test procedures for component and system level testing
Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems

A technician in this role will play a valuable part in ensuring hardware is ready to be integrated on a satellite. You will have to be comfortable in a high paced environment and being able to multitask while still being able to produce high quality work.Kirkland, WA, USA

3+ years of experience working in a test lab or manufacturing environment, using basic hand tools -1+ years of environmental test experience
High school degree or equivalency certificate

Experience in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
Ability to use precision measuring instruments
Previous vibration test experience using an electrodynamic shaker
Previous thermal vacuum test experience
Experience installing instrumentation such as accelerometers, strain gauges, thermocouples, etc.
Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
Understanding of 5S
