What you will do?
- Lead, develop, and maintain communication and relationships with customer stakeholders.
- Sell Juniper products and solutions to, through, and with Deutsche Telekom. This will involve close interworking with the client and the wider account team.
- Being responsible for the bid-to-contract process and the quote-to-invoice process.
- Position end-to-end solutions and articulate Juniper strategies to senior management in the account.
- Develop sales strategies for target markets, including account targeting, goal setting, and messaging.
- Forecasting, lead-, and opportunity management, and reporting.
- Engage with all relevant customer functions involved in or influencing Juniper business development (Engineering, Operations, Architecture, Management etc.), up to Senior Executive level.
The experience we would like you to have.
- Broad-based technological awareness, complemented by knowledge of networking solutions, routing, switching and security concepts/products within the networking arena.
- Experience working with a telco service provider, ideally Deutsche Telekom, or another large service provider.
- A proven track record of success (7+ years) selling to and through large, complex, service providers.
- 7+ years’ experience developing sales strategies, preparing proposals, and presenting networking, security, or related high-tech solutions.
- Demonstrable strong communication, presentation, negotiation and closing skills and using a win/win philosophy.
- The ability to articulate success record and define how a vendor can make a difference.
- Relationship management skills that translate into identifying decision-makers and influencers.
- Must have the ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated and a strong team player.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required.
- Fluent in German and English.
