Your key responsibilities
- Experience in PrimeKey, Venafi (Cloud and Kubernetes) is a must
- Analyzing the organization's needs and developing the right PKI solution to meet security and operational goals.
- Designing, installing, and configuring PKI solutions, handling tasks like certificate issue, revocation, and recovery.
- Conducting regular assessments of the implemented PKI solution to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Working closely with IT and security teams to ensure that the PKI solution aligns with other security measures and organizational goals.
- Developing and updating the PKI's policies and procedures according to the organization's needs and industry best practices.
- Providing training to IT staff and end-users about best practices and precautions while using the PKI system.
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing prompt technical support for PKI related issues.
- Ensuring system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance activities are carried out on schedule.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, new security threats, and compliance requirements related to PKI.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience with Venafi (Cloud and Kubernetes) is a must
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services
- Strong proficiency with Hardware Security Module (HSM) technology (SafeNet/nCipher) & Key Management System (KMS)
- Knowledge of PowerShell Scripting & general understanding of REST API
- Should be able to build a quality culture at GDS
- Help senior team members in performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff/junior level team members
- Manage the performance management for the direct reportees, as per the organization policies
- Foster teamwork and lead by example
- Training and mentoring of project resources
- Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives
- Excellent leadership skills
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 4-8 Years of relevant experience.
- Graduates / BE - B. Tech / MCA / M. Sc. (Stats, Maths, Computer Science) / MBA with background in computer science/data protection.
- Strong knowledge of PKI services, digital certificates, and encryption technologies.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical topics in an accessible way to non-technical staff.
- Relevant certifications, e.g, CISSP, CISM, or similar will be advantageous.
